In this role, Roxanne leads CMI's non-policy sustainability initiatives, including research, member engagement, and cross-sector collaborations that advance recycling and strengthen the circular economy value of metal packaging.</font></p> <p><font style="font-size: 16px;" color="#000000" face="Aptos, sans-serif">Much of Roxanne's work focuses on increasing recycling rates for beverage cans, food cans, aerosol cans, and other metal packaging, including steel. She helps support the aluminum beverage can sector recycling targets and related pillars of action, with particular emphasis on improving Material Recovery Facility sortation, sharing data and technical information with state agencies and organizations engaged in recycled refund systems and extended producer responsibility implementation.</font></p> <p><font style="font-size: 16px;" color="#000000" face="Aptos, sans-serif">Roxanne also supports public engagement and industry partnership initiatives such as Every Can Counts, the Million Cans Recycling Contest, and the Aerosol Recycling Initiative, which help make metal packaging sustainability story more visible, accessible, and effective.
